During our trip to the Salunkhe Vihar Road in Wanowrie, we stumbled upon this beautiful Rajasthani concept store that houses a great collection specially brought in from Jaipur. Be it apparels, handicrafts, home-decor items or accessories, make a trip to The Jaipur Store.

What Makes It Awesome?

With all its collection curated from the Pink City, the store in itself is very colourful. The brainchild of Renu Padiyar, this concept store is a class apart with its colourful and authentic collection.

Let us start with the apparels and accessories. We found a gigantic stack of vibrant kurtis with beautiful handwork starting at INR 390 only. There were fancy dupattas as well embellished with ghungrus and mirrors as well to match the traditional long skirts, that came in crushed material and handwork. Complete your look by carrying the hand-woven slings and clutches that bore beautiful crafts and embroidery. The starting range for these varied from design to design but started at INR 350 and went up to INR 800.

Winter has arrived, why not make your slumber a bit cozier with these quilts starting at just INR 590. Soft and comfortable, we are sure you will enjoy being tucked into these lovely printed covers. On top of that, they have a huge collection of traditional godhadis (crisp quilts with prints) as well starting from INR 2700.

We loved the printed bed-sheets and recommend you to check them out. With peacock prints and intricate handwork, you can also find beautiful mats, cloth baithak sheets and mirror-laden carpets. This tiny shop has all the glimmer stored in it. The good news? The products are authentic and reasonable. The next time you want to add a touch of tradition, you know where to head.

What Could Be Better?

Being a typical Rajasthani store with niche collection, we really hoped to find the traditional Rajasthani ghagras and shrugs, which were surprisingly not there.

Pro-Tip

If you want to give your homes, a traditional touch, buy the decorative torans, door hangings, small animal figurines and mini- puppets, which start at just INR 50.
